Nature of the information published
Information for educational purposes. All Mitzpahor content, free or reserved for subscribers, is general and educational in nature. The portfolio is a non-personalised model and is not individual investment advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a financial instrument, nor an offer or solicitation to do so.
No personalised advice
No content, including the model portfolio, the research, the alerts and the results of the 3rd pillar guidance tool, takes account of your financial situation, your objectives, your investment horizon or your risk tolerance. Before any decision, consider your own situation and, if necessary, consult a qualified professional: an authorised investment adviser, a tax adviser, a lawyer.
Status of Mitzpahor
Mitzpahor is not a licensed financial services provider within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA), nor an investment firm within the meaning of the MiFID rules in the European Union, nor a registered investment adviser in the United States or Canada. Mitzpahor is not supervised by any financial market authority and carries out no regulated investment advice activity.
Our independence
Mitzpahor receives no remuneration from the companies it writes about, and its alerts are sent to all subscribers at the same time. We may hold some of the securities in the portfolio. In that case, we place our own orders in those securities no earlier than 12 hours after the alert has been sent to all subscribers.
Risks of investing in shares
- Risk of capital loss: the value of a share can fall, to the point of becoming zero if the company goes bankrupt. All investing carries a risk of loss.
- Volatility: prices can move sharply and quickly, including for high-quality companies, with no immediate link to their results.
- Concentration: the method presented favours a limited number of securities. A concentrated portfolio amplifies gains as well as losses and is more exposed to the difficulties of a single company.
- Currency risk: an investment denominated in a currency other than yours can lose value solely because of exchange rate movements.
- Liquidity: some securities can be difficult to sell quickly at a reasonable price.
- Taxation: tax treatment depends on your country of residence and your situation, and may change.
- Broker risk: the bankruptcy or failure of an intermediary can delay or jeopardise access to your securities, depending on the protection scheme that applies.
Past performance
Past performance is no guide to future performance. The historical examples, charts and results quoted, including the track record of the model portfolio, illustrate a method; they guarantee no result and cannot be reproduced identically.
Your responsibility
You remain solely responsible for your investment decisions and their consequences. Invest only sums you can afford to lose, over a horizon compatible with your needs. Mitzpahor cannot be held liable for losses incurred following decisions taken on the basis of its content.
